CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – A Georgia fugitive wanted on felony warrants was taken into custody after leading Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office deputies on a pursuit that crossed into Georgia before ending with a Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT) maneuver, authorities said.
According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, detectives with the Criminal Warrants Unit located Kennie Montieth on July 21 while attempting to serve active felony warrants issued by Walker County, Georgia.
