HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) – City and county leaders gave a state of Henderson address today to talk about some of their accomplishments in the past year and their goals for the future.
They say Henderson has continued to grow over the past year, with several projects in the pipeline aimed at maintaining that momentum, including a new fire station.
“Last year, I stood up in front of you and said,’ Hey, we’re building a fire station by the spring of 2027, we should have that thing open,’” says Henderson Mayor, Brad Staton. “We are a little bit ahead of schedule, and so now we’re anticipating before the end of the year.”…
