1. SATURDAY: MIAAOR invites boaters, kayakers and volunteers to join cleanup
Keep Collier Beautiful and the Marco Island Area Association of Realtors have partnered to host the 2026 Clean Up Florida Waters on Marco Island, from 9 a.m. until noon, Saturday, July 25.
Boaters, kayakers and community volunteers are invited to start the cleanup from their regular dock or boat ramp, then rendezvous with the group at Keewaydin Island. Volunteers from MIAAOR will be stationed at Keewaydin to collect and record the debris that participants collect along the way. Captains will receive a special appreciation bag that includes half-price discount tickets to the Naples Boat Show. Drinks and lunch will also be available on the island.
The event is free to participate, but pre-registration is requested at keepcollierbeautiful.com.
