GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Two people were injured in a shooting in Grand Rapids’ Alger Heights neighborhood early Saturday morning, police say.
Grand Rapids police responded to a shooting near the intersection of Nelson Avenue SE and Hoyt Street SE just after 2:40 a.m. At the scene, officers found two people with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, GRPD told News 8. Both people were able to take themselves to the hospital for treatment.
