Fourth firefighter dies after Knowles Fire burnover incident

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — A fourth wildland firefighter died Friday from injuries battling the Knowles Fire near the Utah-Colorado border, according to the United States Department of the Interior.

Nathan Matthews, 43, of the Wildland Fire Service, of Lincoln, Nebraska, died from injuries he sustained while fighting the Knowles Fire in western Colorado on June 27.
