AKRON, Ohio — Swensons Drive-In, the Northeast Ohio-born fast-food chain known for its curbside service and iconic Galley Boy burger, has been named one of the best regional fast food restaurants in the country.
The drive-in landed at No. 6 on USA TODAY’s 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards list for Best Regional Fast Food, which highlights standout chains that have built loyal followings in specific parts of the U.S. The rankings were determined by reader votes following nominations from a panel of experts.
