The Orrville Board of Education met July 22.
Treasurer Joe Shumar presented the June 2026 financial report, which showed the year-end General Fund cash balance finished within $278,000 of the amount projected in the February forecast. Revenue for the fiscal year was 0.54% below projections while expenses were 1.8% below projections.
Shumar also presented the fiscal year 2026 financial review, highlighting operating gains and losses among district funds and special cost centers including those with year-over-year declines in cash balances.
