CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The big weather story this week: the heat returns. Monday could see low to mid 90s inland, a little cooler along the coast. But that feels-like temperature could be triple digits.
Weather today:
It will be hot and humid on Monday with less thunderstorm coverage. We’ll warm into the mid-90s inland, with most of the Lowcountry feeling like 105°.
Only isolated showers and storms are expected, but nothing like what we saw over the weekend.
Weather tomorrow:
Borderline extreme heat warning criteria for Tuesday. Expect forecast high temperatures in the upper 90s inland, low 90s on the coast, and a window of time where we could feel over 110°+.
A few isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible into the afternoon.
Looking ahead:
The heat continues into Wednesday with highs in the mid to upper 90s and heat indices 105-110+, especially near the coast…
