Butter chicken from Spice Junction
I had been hearing about the new Indian restaurant on Coursey Boulevard, so I stopped in for lunch. I ordered garlic naan and butter chicken. The rice was cooked perfectly, fluffy and separate, which is a big deal to me. The butter chicken was the epitome of comfort food — flavorful with just enough spice.
There was plenty to bring home as well.
I also tried the sweet thali dessert, which is a sampler of three popular desserts — Gulab Jamun, Rasmalai and Badaami Kheer. Of the three, the Badaami Kheer, a creamy almond-infused rice pudding with saffron and cardamom, was my favorite.
