WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A Wichita man faces prison time after pleading guilty to charges stemming from a fiery, alcohol-fueled crash that killed his passenger in late 2024 in the Delano District.
According to Sedgwick County District Court records, Christian Sheppard pleaded guilty Tuesday to involuntary manslaughter while driving under the influence and one count of criminal threat in a separate case. Under the plea agreement, prosecutors dropped the original, more severe charge of second-degree murder, along with two misdemeanors from the unrelated case.
