Six Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Crash Thursday In Newark

Three people were critically injured and three others were transported to area hospitals following a multi-vehicle crash with entrapment early Thursday morning.

The crash occurred at approximately 12:29 a.m. at the intersection of Pulaski Highway and South College Avenue. New Castle County Paramedics and the Christiana Fire Company were dispatched to the scene and found multiple vehicles involved, with three occupants trapped inside their vehicles. Firefighters worked to free the trapped victims while paramedics provided emergency medical care.

According to New Castle County EMS, a 26-year-old man suffered internal injuries and lower extremity trauma. He was transported by an ambulance from the Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder Company to Christiana Hospital in critical condition. An approximately 20-year-old man sustained a head injury and was transported by an ambulance from the Christiana Fire Company to Christiana Hospital in critical condition. A 20-year-old woman with possible internal injuries was flown by the Delaware State Police Aviation Unit to Christiana Hospital in stable condition…
