Traditional coin-operated meters to be replaced with mobile app
CUYAHOGA FALLS — Cuyahoga Falls City Council is saying goodbye to traditional, coin-operated parking meters.
At the July 27 regular City Council meeting, Council members approved an ordinance to amend Chapter 353 “Parking Meters” of the Cuyahoga Falls Codified Ordinances. The legislation cites the parking meters currently in use on Front Street are “obsolete” and must be replaced with more modern technology.
City Law Director Janet Ciotola said with improvements underway on south Front Street, the city began researching meter options.
