Shops at Fallen Timbers sold to new ownership group

MAUMEE, Ohio (WTVG) – The Shops at Fallen Timbers has been sold to Timbers Town Center Ltd., which is investing $89 million into redeveloping the Maumee shopping center.

The sale was finalized Tuesday night. Timbers Town Center is a group of developers whose previous projects include Easton Town Center in Columbus.

Vacancy a concern for current tenants

Of the 56 storefronts at the mall, just over two dozen are currently occupied. Ila Gupta, owner of Satrangi, an Indian boutique and event center, said foot traffic has dropped significantly since she moved into the mall three years ago.
