Man accused of secretly filming women, teen girls in store dressing rooms

Facial recognition technology led to the arrest of a man who used his cellphone to secretly record dozens of women and teen girls as they got dressed in fitting rooms inside a Chester County store, officials said.

Benedicto Lemus Moran, 43, of West Grove, Pennsylvania, was arrested and charged with multiple counts of sexual extortion – make/distribute material containing sexual conduct/nudity, multiple counts of invasion of privacy – view, photograph etc. person without consent, and other related offenses.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, a woman was inside the dressing room of a Goodwill store in Chester County back on March 27, 2026, when she noticed a cellphone slide underneath the door. The woman reported it to store management who looked at surveillance video which captured a man — later identified as Benedicto Lemus Moran — inside the Goodwill, officials said…
