Men wanted for alleged Fourth of July attempted murder after public’s help in identification

Baton Rouge police have identified two men wanted for allegedly shooting an individual at a Plank Road convenience store on July 4.

According to arrest warrants, the victim and two witnesses went to a convenience store on the 5500 block of Plank Road on the evening of July 4, when Bobby Davis, 61, and Jody Comeaux, 55, walked in and allegedly started making inappropriate comments toward the two female witnesses.

The victim then entered the store and started arguing when Davis and Comeaux each drew a handgun, police said. The victim and witnesses tried to leave the store when Davis and Comeaux allegedly followed them to the car and started shooting at the victim, hitting him in the arm…
