The wait for more secondhand books and kitschy pop culture gifts is over. The used bookstore 2nd & Charles has opened its new location on South Mall Drive in Baton Rouge.
The store, which buys and sells books, movies, music and video games, opened July 30 in the former Joann Fabrics and Crafts space in the Siegen Lane Marketplace.
The space at 10545 S. Mall Drive is 22,000 square feet, double the size of the former 2nd & Charles store in the Acadian Village shopping center near Trader Joe’s.
Customers can expect much more room and many more books…
