In this post-credits moment, viewers see Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon), fresh out of MIT, showcasing his new creation: the “Spidey Tracker” app. This clever tool maps recent Spider-Man sightings across New York City using Spider-Man mask icons.
Ned developed the app as a way to honor Spider-Man, who saved him countless times during their high school days. Notably, following the events of 2021’s “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” no one, including Ned and MJ (Zendaya), remembers Peter Parker (Tom Holland) as the webbed hero.
As the scene unfolds, the Spidey Tracker zooms in on a mask located in New York, presumably Peter Parker himself. But then the map pulls back dramatically, expanding beyond Earth to reveal another Spider-Man icon positioned somewhere in outer space. The sequence closes with a simple message: “Spider-Man will return.”

Although Tom Holland isn’t listed among the star-studded cast of the upcoming “Avengers: Doomsday,” set to premiere December 18, a cameo appearance wouldn’t be surprising. Many speculate that multiple Spider-Men, potentially including past cinematic versions like Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, as well as animated favorites like Miles Morales, could appear in the 2027 sequel “Avengers: Secret Wars.” This storyline famously brings together various timelines and alternate realities, culminating in a major clash on a realm known as Battleworld.
