LAKELAND, Fla. (WFLA) — SPCA Florida is holding their largest adoption event of the year, with adoption specials running the entire month of August.
“To see how they’ve become a real dog or a real cat in a home with a family that loves them – that’s what we’re here for,” said Randa Richter, humane programs and public media director at SPCA Florida.
The goal is to adopt out all of their animals so that they can bring in dozens more and help take the load off of local shelters…
