Towson water line replacement project to begin on Monday

TOWSON, Md. — The Baltimore County Department of Public Works and Transportation will begin a project to replace an aging water line in Towson starting Monday, Aug. 3.

Work will take place along Olympic Place, between York Road and Dulaney Valley Road. Construction crews are scheduled to work daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., replacing an older pipe with 300 feet of new 8-inch pipe.

Although Olympic Place will remain open to traffic throughout the project, county officials warned that drivers may encounter temporary daytime lane closures during work hours…
