$29M apartment project on county-owned site tops out, gets opening date

CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) – The final structural beam is in place on a $29.1 million apartment project in Covington several years in the making.

The Bavarian Apartments is a five-story, 125-unit apartment building at 500 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. atop a state-funded 248-space parking garage next to the Kenton County Government Center.

“This is the stage when people can really start to see the project coming to life,” John Bumgarner, senior vice president and Cincinnati market leader at Merus, said at the July 28 topping-out ceremony. “The Bavarian reflects a lot of hard work by a lot of partners, and we’re grateful to everyone helping move it forward.”…
