A 41-year-old person was wounded Friday evening after a shooter fired through a window of a Belmont Cragin home, police said. The victim was hospitalized in serious but stable condition as detectives worked to determine what led someone to fire into an occupied residence.
The shooting occurred at 7:33 p.m. Friday in the 2100 block of North Mobile, according to a report by Chicago Sun-Times. Police said the victim was inside the home when the shot came through the window.
