MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is accused of kidnapping and punching a woman, then crashing his vehicle twice and leaving it in flames on Sunday.
Samuel Louis Shaw, 64, was charged with kidnapping and assault. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday. His bond has not been set.
On August 2, at around 4:40 p.m., officers responded to a kidnapping at Frayser Blvd. and University St.
When MPD arrived, they were told a woman was in a vehicle with the suspect later identified as Samuel Shaw.
