CHICAGO (WGN) — The bodies of two missing kayakers from the Chicago area have been found, authorities in Wisconsin announced on Monday.
According to the Door County Sheriff’s Office, recovery personnel from the Washington Island Police Department, Gibraltar Police Department, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and Door County Sheriff’s Office worked together in locating the bodies of two Illinoisans from Chicago’s northwest suburbs: 20-year-old David Thalman, of Dundee and 20-year-old Franceska Warick of South Elgin.
