LAKELAND, Fla. — A 63-year-old Lakeland man was arrested Sunday afternoon after calling law enforcement to report a dead woman who turned out to be alive, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
Jerry Lynn Seymour dialed the sheriff’s office around noon on August 2, stating he did not know his location and believed a deceased woman was with him. Deputies responded to the area of North Galloway Road and Sleepy Hill Road in Lakeland to locate him.
Upon arrival, deputies located Seymour, who explained that he had just woken up and was confused from a nightmare. Authorities checked the area and quickly confirmed that the woman Seymour believed was dead was actually next door and unharmed…
