WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – The Kansas Food Bank is helping to feed families in Wichita with their ‘Filling the Gap’ program.
The program provides meals to families when other resources aren’t available. Summer meal programs have ended and school has not begun yet, so there is currently a gap in help.
“The beginning of the school year, we want to make sure the kids start the school year, you know, nourished and refreshed and not worrying about food.
