The Henderson County Board of Commissioners approved an initiative July 15 that paves the way for people in the community to trap, spay or neuter, vaccinate and release feral cats.
Blue Ridge Humane Society announced the initiative in a press release July 27.
Karla Pan, senior director of animal welfare strategies for the humane society, told the Citizen Times July 31 that figuring out what the initiative means in practice is the next step.
