LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — The state highlighted the “warm handoff program” in operation here at Lancaster General Hospital (LGH), describing it as a lifesaver for those experiencing a substance abuse crisis.
“For someone who has just survived an overdose, the hours that follow can shape what happens next,” Dr. Lakita Davis-Jones, who is the secretary of the department of drug and alcohol programs, said during Tuesday’s press conference.
