Greece, N.Y. — A man died from his injuries two days after he was assaulted inside his home last week, according to the Greece Police Department.
Officers responded to a report of a physical altercation on Wood Road around 6:10 p.m. Wednesday. Police said they found Timothy Carlton, 53, unconscious with life-threatening injuries. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, where he died from his injuries Friday.
According to the felony complaint, Shawn Warnick, 46, entered Carlton’s home and got into an argument with him, punching him in the head multiple times. Carlton’s injuries included a cerebral edema, brain bleed, bleeding in the ventricles of the brain and a possible aneurysm that caused him to go into cardiac arrest…
