A coalition led by Chester, the Delaware County Health Department, and local community organizations is hosting a free Back-to-School Bash on Saturday, Aug. 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Delaware County Health Department Wellness Center in Chester. The event aims to help students start the new school year healthy and prepared.
According to a Delco Daily Times report, the event will offer free backpacks and school supplies, K-12 physicals and immunizations, access to community resources, free food and entertainment, giveaways, raffles, and family-friendly activities.
