WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A judge handed down a 12-year sentence for a teen who took part in a string of crimes in Washington, D.C., in 2025.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia announced that Makai Bridges, 17, was sentenced. In March 2026, Bridges pled guilty to carjacking, robbery, possession of a prohibited weapon and simple assault.
