Several people remain hospitalized after this past weekend’s tragic accident on Broadwayin downtown Nashville that left one pedestrian dead.
The incident happened around 12:30pm on Saturday, when an 87-year-old driver ran a red light and struck four pedestrians who were crossing the street in the busy entertainment district. The driver, identified by the Metro Nashville Police Department as Thomas Cahill of Bowling Green, Kentucky, was also injured in the accident, as was his 90-year-old wife who was in the vehicle with him.
