Syracuse CRB refuses to restart police investigations until city guarantees legal protection

Syracuse, N.Y. – The Syracuse Civilian Review Board Tuesday night refused to restart investigations into complaints against police officers until CRB members get a guarantee of legal representation if sued.

On Monday, all nine members of the Syracuse Common Council signed a letter telling the CRB to resume investigations into officers that have been suspended since April.
