A Mexican restaurant that served the Lubbock community for 25 years closed its doors for the final time over the weekend.
Nora’s Mexican Restaurant, located at 417 Frankford Ave., announced via social media that the longtime restaurant closed on Saturday, Aug. 1.
“Good morning my beautiful family and friends, after 25 incredible years, it is with a heavy heart that I announce the closing of Nora’s Mexican Food Restaurant,” the owner, Nora, stated in the social media post. “Twenty-five years isn’t measured just in the meals you served. It’s measured in birthdays celebrated, anniversaries, graduations, business meetings, family gatherings, and ordinary days that became special because people chose to spend them at Nora’s.”…
