KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI — The co-owner of a business was killed during an incident on the job, according to state officials.
On Thursday, July 30, the 31-year-old person was in a scissor lift disassembling beams inside a factory in Comstock Township when a beam became unsecured and twisted, causing the scissor lift to tip over backward, the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration said.
