(FOX40.COM) — San Joaquin County confirmed its first human case of West Nile Virus on Wednesday as the disease continues to spread across California.
San Joaquin County Public Health Services announced that a “female patient in her 60s” was the county’s first confirmed human West Nile Virus case of 2026. She’s also the 12th reported human case in California, two of whom have died.
