LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Lincoln Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect involved in a car theft from early June.
On June 2, Lincoln police responded to a report of a vehicle theft in the area of 13th and H Street. An employee working in the area told police that they were taking a break on some stairs behind his business when they lost their keys.
Police say that when he sat down, he didn’t notice that his car keys had fallen out of his pocket. Moments later, another person is seen on camera walking by the stairs, sitting down next to the keys, placing their backpack on top of them before the video ends…
