BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A girl is recovering at Golisano Children’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being shot in the ankle early Thursday morning on Niagara Street, Buffalo police said.
Police responded to a shooting call on the 200 block of Niagara Street around 4:45 a.m. The girl was taken by ambulance to Golisano Children’s Hospital.
The Buffalo Police Gun Violence Unit is investigating. Anyone with any information is asked to call or text 911 or the Buffalo Police confidential tip line at 716-847-2255.
