(FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office has dropped charges against a man accused of running a large-scale illegal marijuana and narcotics “pop-up” sales operation out of a private home.
In December 2025, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office issued a search warrant for a property in south Sacramento County on Bar Du Lane. During the search, deputies seized narcotics, firearms and cash with an estimated street value exceeding $2.5 million.
Three adults were arrested at the scene for possession of cocaine for sale, fentanyl, felon in possession of ammunition and an outstanding felony warrant. At that time, officials said 45-year-old Joseph Marques was the primary suspect in the illegal enterprise.
