Richmond’s Lamar Little Leauge entered the Southwest Region Tournament having outscored its 11 previous opponents by a combined score of 100-12. They have continued that rampage in Waco.
Lamar walloped Boerne 10-3 in the Southwest Region Tournament opener Thursday at Norcross Stadium. Lamar, which won the region last year and advanced to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa., will play Tulsa in the winner’s bracket of the seven-team, double-elimination tournament at 10 a.m. Friday (ESPN+).
