BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — People who use the bike path near the Chester Avenue bridge are being urged to stay away after reports of aggressive dogs in the area.
The Bakersfield Police Department said animal control received reports of several aggressive dogs along the bike path near the Chester Avenue bridge. Six dogs were “safely contained” and transported to the city animal care center, police said.
Officers warned that several additional aggressive dogs might still be in the area. A portion of the bike path will remain closed as efforts continue to capture the remaining dogs safely…
