Syracuse stops ticketing drivers in funeral processions caught by school zone cameras

Syracuse, N.Y. – Syracuse will no longer ticket drivers who go through red lights as part of a funeral procession.

Deputy Mayor Corey Driscoll Dunham said the city became aware of the issue after syracuse.com | The Post-Standard published an article in June about a family in a funeral procession that was ticketed by one of the city’s new school zone traffic cameras for running a red light.
