BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department is remembering an officer on the anniversary of his death this weekend.
The department is honoring Sergeant Dennis Alan Moore, who suffered a major medical event on Aug. 9, 2017 and passed away the same day.

BPD said Moore “loved this department, the community and police work, but more than anything else, Dennis loved his family.”
