An independent coffee shop out of Yuba City is now operating inside Compton’s Market, the popular longtime East Sacramento grocery store.
Steele House Coffee is now serving customers inside the decades-old market’s cafe space at 4065 McKinley Blvd.
The shop prides itself in the original and old fashioned flavor of its roasted coffee, said Johnny Daughtery, the manager of the Sacramento location. The coffee house specializes in dark roasts and honors the chocolatey, nutty flavors of down-to-earth coffee, he said…
