BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Greater Mount Carmel Baptist Church of Scotlandville is celebrating a major milestone: 110 years of faith and service in the community.
The church will mark its anniversary at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, at 1414 Sora St. in Baton Rouge. Rev. Rene’ Brown of Mt. Zion First Baptist Church will serve as the guest speaker.
