DCF details involvement with Wichita family before baby’s death

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Kansas Department for Children and Families has released some details to KSN on its involvement with the family of a 4-month-old who died in June.

Destiny and Krystian Manning are charged with first-degree murder, child abuse, and seven counts of aggravated child endangerment in the death of their son Rhysand Manning on June 12.

Per Kansas law, when a child dies, DCF is required to give a summary of its involvement with the child and the services it offered.
