WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Police are investigating after a swatting call at the Derby Police Station Thursday night.
According to police, an unknown individual called the station and told an employee they had a vehicle‑borne improvised explosive device and a rifle and planned to confront officers.
As a precaution, Derby police requested additional units from Haysville and Sedgwick County.
