PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — An Oregon non-profit organization helping survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation responded to more than 20 people seeking assistance this week, all within the span of a single day.
Safety Compass, the Woodburn-based nonprift, said the response between Aug. 6 and Aug. 7 marked the largest number of survivors it has served in such a short period.
