WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Dangerous to at times extreme heat will continue across Kansas the next few days, then it will turn cooler late in the week as a cold front moves in and storm chances return.
Very hot weather is expected today with high temperatures ranging from 100 to 105 degrees. South winds will gust up to 30 miles per hour during the afternoon. Take the necessary precautions to avoid heat related illnesses from prolonged exposure to the elements.
