WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – The Air Capital is once again living up to its name.
Wichita is hosting multiple World War II era aircraft this weekend as part of Wichita Warbird Week. At the B-29 Doc Hangar, you can go see ‘Doc,’ which is one of two B-29s left in the world that is still flying. In addition, you can see a B-17 aircraft.
The B-17, named ‘Sentimental Journey,’ comes from Arizona and is one of only three aircrafts of its kind still doing tours. On Saturday, visitors were able to tour the aircraft, including close access.
