Primark has secured the old Sears anchor spot at Augusta Mall. This marks the company’s first Georgia store. The Dublin-based clothing seller operates in 19 countries. They said the store will open soon, but gave no exact date.
“We’re so excited – Primark is opening soon! Stay tuned!” the mall posted on social media this week, per The Augusta Chronicle. The shopping center first shared news of the lease back in March 2025.
Primark U.S. President Kevin Tulip announced the location at a 2025 retail trade show in Las Vegas, along with store openings in Greenville, S.C., and Arlington, Texas. The Texas location opened June 25 at The Parks Mall at Arlington, between Dallas and Fort Worth.
